It just so happens that one of our oldest clients is also one of the largest companies in the world. Over the last 16 years, GCG Marketing has designed and produced a variety of work for ExxonMobil, including annual reports, a quarterly stockholder publication called The Lamp, and an award-winning 126-page ExxonMobil history book.
Now add to the list ExxonMobil's The Outlook for Energy. This 50-plus page annual publication is a definitive look at the way the world will use energy through the year 2040. It takes into account growing economies, advances in technology and efficiency, population growth and shifts in demographics to predict what the world's energy situation will look like. The Outlook for Energy is seen as an authoritative industry forecast with some 60,000 copies being distributed to influential people around the world.
From The Outlook for Energy:
ExxonMobil uses The Outlook for Energy to guide our global investment decisions. Because we know that the world's energy future will be shaped by decisions made not just by companies like ours, but also by policymakers and consumers, we share this document publicly to encourage a broader understanding of energy issues that affect us all.
You might not guess that a small marketing agency like GCG could play a part in such an important and wide-reaching tool as ExxonMobil's The Outlook for Energy. But then, with almost 40 years' experience in designing for the oil & gas industry, it actually makes perfect sense. We've got experience and expertise that few agencies can compete with, and we're proud to work with ExxonMobil as they look to the future.
